Hooker Furniture Charleston Bungalow Buffet in White Heron
Capturing the vintage charm of the coastal South and the tropical craftsmanship of the West Indies, the Charleston Bungalow Buffet is crafted of wood and resin with a Solid Wood Edge top and bamboo-motif accents. It has two doors with soft-close hinges, and six drawers with self-closing drawer guides. The top left drawer has a removable felt liner and the top right drawer has a removable felt silverware tray. There's one adjustable shelf behind each door and a ventilated back panel. It is finished in White Heron, a softer interpretation of the classic Southern limestone white with a slightly brighter sheen, delivering an heirloom-quality finish. Imagine a coastal breeze drifting through aged oak trees adorned with Spanish moss, gently ruffling the magnolias alongside historic homes, buildings, and churches that frame the cobbled streets of old. It is here in this tranquil stroll through southern lore, that the inspiration for "Charleston" was born. The collection also offers a more casual West-Indies inspired design using various materials that harken to the open sea where trade ships of the past carrying exotic spices, fabrics, and foods would dock along this southern jewel. As one would expect to see in the fabled shops along King Street, an array of pieces draped in finishes of weathered whites, yellows, greens, limes, and blues, intertwined with woven elements and linens are available to make each home its special place. I just received my beautiful Bernhardt Buffet in perfect condition, and the best part is it was the lowest price I could find. Danica and Harry w/Unlimited followed up after my purchase to keep me updated on shipping status and eventually delivery, as well as a follow-up post-delivery to ensure everything went well.
